The £50 SEO Analysis Report is one of my most popular services.
The aim of the report is to highlight any potential issues that may be harming your website’s search engine rankings.
Most people look at their website and think that it’s fine. It looks good, you can get to all the pages easily enough and the content is in full and proper English. Great! But why is it only getting a few unique visitors a day?
On the other hand, it could be getting thousands of unique visitors a day. The website might have been mentioned on a large, social media website and gone viral - great! But why are none of them converting into sales?
This report looks at both sides of SEO - on page and off page. Your website might be great on-page, but lack some major off-page factors. Conversely, it might be great off-page, but miss some crucial on-page factors. Or it may be missing both!
What does the SEO analysis report cover?
The report will cover all aspects of Search Engine Optimisation, both on-page, including:
- Semantic HTML, W3C validated
- URL structure
- Information architecture
- META tags
- Keyword analysis and density
- Website aesthetics, design and usability
- Website copy and structure
…and off-page:
- The majority of off page optimisation can generally be grouped together under ‘links’. This includes:
- Number of incoming links
- Number of outgoing links
- The use of anchor, title and alt text where applicable
- Keyword usage in and around the links
- Relevance of page from where the incoming link is from
- Quality of page from where the incoming link is from
- Deep-linking
Although the above does not encompass all the aspects of the SEO analysis report, it provides a good understanding of what to expect from the report. However, there are two extra items I add to the report, which are generally not found on a large selection of SEO reports -
- Competitor analysis, and
- SEO recommendations
After I have completed both the on-page and off-page factors, I will take a look at a selection of the websites competitors. These competitors can be provided by the client, researched by wholly by myself, or a mixture of both, which is generally recommended. They analysis can also be carried out on a specific keyword or key phrase, or a direct competitors website.
At the end of the report, a full list of recommendations will be provided for the client. These include any recommendations and improvements I feel necessary to make to the website that may be preventing the website rank appropriately in the search engines.
It must be noted that the client has no obligation to hire me to put the recommendations into practice. Although I will provide a full price per hour and time scale for the work, the client is more than welcome to either carry out the work themselves, or hire another SEO Consultant.
What makes this £50 SEO analysis report different to other reports?
You may have noticed that there are a small amount of free SEO analysis reports available around the internet. In a nutshell, these reports aren’t worth a great deal - hence the reason why they’re free!
These reports only cover the basics of on-page and off-page optimisation - it’s all they can do. They’re a computer generated report. All they can cover is what they’ve been programmed to.
Further to this, these free reports have no human input, meaning they can’t even begin to cover website aesthetics, usability, copy or content structure.
As well as these, these reports don’t cover competitor analysis nor do they provide any form of recommendations.
I haven’t mentioned everything covered under the report here, so if you have any questions about a specific item in the report or would like to order a report, don’t hesitate to contact me.
